Kids...

Highlight of my day (aside from a very yummy dinner):

Kid: Look I have a toy gun!
Me: That's nice.
Kid: Do you have one?
Me: No
Kid: Does your mom not let you play with them?

...I didn't have the heart to tell him that I no longer live with my mom, so I just nodded.
